Harwood Ski Bike Rentals Are Back for the 2026–27 Season in Park City

Winter is on its way back to the Wasatch, and we couldn't be more excited: Harwood Ski Bikes is officially open for reservations for the 2026–27 season in Park City, Utah.

If you've never tried it, this is the year. Ski biking is the easiest, most exhilarating way to get on the mountain — no week-long learning curve, no aching shins, no experience required. If you can ride a bike, you can ride a ski bike. And here in Park City, there's no easier or more welcoming way to do it than with Harwood.

Here's what's in store this season, how to ride with us, and the best ways to save.

What's New This Season

We've spent the off-season making the Harwood experience even smoother for the 2026–27 winter:

  • Slopeside delivery to all the major Park City base areas, so you skip the rental-shop lines entirely.
  • Premium, well-maintained ski bikes with articulating skis that lean and carve intuitively — plus performance powder bikes available as an upgrade for deep days.
  • Flexible booking and punch passes built for families, groups, and anyone who wants to ride more than once (trust us, you will).
  • Helmets, fitting, instruction, and chairlift basics included with every rental, so you're confident before your first run.

Availability is limited and the best delivery windows fill up fast, so early reservations are strongly recommended.

Rent a Ski Bike in Park City

When you rent a ski bike in Park City with Harwood, the whole day is handled for you. We meet you at the base, fit your bike, walk you through the basics and how to load the chairlift, and get you riding — usually within minutes.

This season we're delivering to all the major Park City base areas on a set morning schedule:

Want to ride on your own schedule? We also offer customer pick-up and custom delivery, so you can ride at Park City, Woodward, or take your rental to explore beyond.

Why Harwood Is the Best Ski Bike Experience in Utah

There are a lot of ways to spend a winter day in Park City. Here's why ski biking with Harwood stands above the rest.

It's the easiest mountain sport to learn. You balance and steer the way you already do on a bicycle, so it feels familiar from the very first run. Most riders are linking turns in minutes, not days.

It's easier on your body. You're seated, your center of gravity is low, and you're not pounding your knees and quads run after run. It's the perfect "rest day that isn't a rest day" for skiers and snowboarders — and a genuinely welcoming option for non-skiers who still want real mountain access.

The terrain access is real. Our ski bikes are built for lift-served, downhill terrain, so you can explore Park City's groomers, trees, and summit views the same day you start. We focus on locations and terrain where ski biking is approved, lift-accessible, and designed to integrate safely with traditional downhill traffic.

The service is the difference. Slopeside delivery, professional fitting, a fast and friendly orientation, premium equipment, and simple one-rate booking. Whether you're a first-timer, a family, a mountain biker chasing a new challenge, or a non-skier who's always watched from the lodge — this is your invitation to belong on the mountain.

Who's Behind Harwood

Harwood was founded by Rob Aseltine along with his brother Ronnie. Rob was previously the Marketing Director for SNO-GO ski bikes from 2018–2025 and is widely recognized as one of the primary contributors to ski biking's growth over the last decade — bringing in global mountain bike athletes, creating the PSIA-AASI E-learning course, and expanding resort programs. Ronnie has picked up recognition as one of the most talented riders in the sport, as seen on his Instagram @treeslayerr. Ronnie handles day-to-day operations while Rob helps in the background with marketing and other business needs.

We'll share much more of the Harwood story in a dedicated founders post soon — stay tuned.
